This is a 46.5 and 33 mile ride, starting from the large parking lot SE corner of Brunswick County Government Center off of BUS 17 in Bolivia, NC. This is just down the road from old start point. There is a rest stop near the 28/15 mile point.
There will usually be three pace groups. The “Fast” or A Group riding at an average pace of 18+mph, the “Strong” or B Group riding at an average pace of 16-17mph, and the “Moderate” or C Group riding at an average pace of 14-15mph. (When the ride allows there will be a “Leisurely” or D Group riding at a sub 14mph average pace over a shorter distance with a no drop policy. This will be noted in the ride announcement header.)
You are responsible for printing your own copy of the map for this ride. Do not expect the ride leader to provide any at the start of the ride. If you do not have facilities to accomplish this then email a request to the ride leader to possibly make one for you.
