The 2021 Hot Doggett 100 is now behind us and we look forward to hosting riders from all over the South-East, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest again for another great event in 2022.
If you joined us for the 15th Annual Hot Doggett on July 10, 2021, the results are now posted under the Rider Times link. Congratulations – once again the riders showed great spirit and athleticism.
Just as important to the continued success of the event are the organizations, businesses, and individuals who supported the Hot Doggett through their sponsorship. Take a look at the full list on the Sponsors page. We encourage you to support them in return.
We could not put on an event like the Hot Doggett without the army of volunteers who turn out to make sure the ride is safe, the rest stops and post ride meal are well stocked, and packet pick-up/registration runs smoothly. We truly appreciate these volunteers and the countless hours they spend making the rider experience totally awesome.

CAPE FEAR CYCLISTS SPECIAL NOTE FORM THE RIDE ORGANZIER
Hot Doggett is back for another wonderful event: the challenging mountain climbs, the technical descents, the Blue Ridge scenery, the low-traffic roads, and the great food. It’s a chip-timed event with bottle hand-offs for those who don’t want to stop and generous rest-stops for those who do.
Hot Doggett is supporting Cape Fear Cyclists this year by rebating the club $7 per pre-registered rider, paid directly to the club. There is no upper limit and no catch; you don’t all need to ride the same course. All that’s needed is 6 pre-registrants, and the rebate starts at $42. Just be sure to list Cape Fear Cyclists on the registration; Hot Doggett will send the funds afterwards.
The options are 100 miles, 100K and 31 miles. Start / finish in Mars Hill NC, just north of Asheville.
Hot Doggett is a fundraiser for scholarships and other youth programs and is run by the Rotary Club of Madison County.
Information about lodging is on the website.
Pre-registration goes until July 5; day-of registrations are welcome, but will not be included in the club sponsorship funds. To sign up or get more info, check out:
