We will meet at River Road Park (about 1/2 mile south of the intersection of River Road and Sanders Road) and pick-up for about one hour. All materials (collection bags, gloves, safety jackets, etc) will be supplied.
Following the cleanup there will be refreshments and award of prizes for the two participants that find the (now) famed “Yellow Coke Bottles”.
After the refreshments there will be a bicycle ride to Carolina Beach and, for those that are so inclined, to the Fort Fisher Ferry and return to River Road Park.
There will be at least three pace groups. The “Need for speed” group riding at a pace above 20 mph, the “Middle of the road” group riding at a pace of 17-20 mph, and the “Fun in the sun” group riding at a pace of 14-17 mph. We regroup at convenient points on the route……no one left behind.

First-time guest riders are welcome. If you enjoy the experience, we encourage you to Join Us or pick up a membership form at a local bike shop! Your membership not only supports the club and cycling advocacy but also extends insurance coverage to you on club rides and entitles you to discounts at local bike shops.
E-bike riders must have approval prior to the ride by the ride leader. Only Class 1 (pedal assist mode only) e-bikes are allowed on routes. No e-bike motor pacing the front of a pace line. The ride leader reserves the right to ask the cyclist to stay at the rear or leave the group if the e-bike is not being safely operated, as with any unsafe cyclist. E-Bike classifications
